Brunch is served from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM and is well worth a visit.

Melanders Täby Centrum
Located in the southern extension of Täby Centre and spanning an impressive 1,100 square metres, Melanders is difficult to categorize because it is much more than just a restaurant. Under one roof, you will find a brasserie, a bar, a bakery, and one of Stockholm’s finest fish and seafood counters.
Melanders is renowned for the quality of its ingredients, and it becomes apparent immediately. The menu revolves around the sea, offering dishes such as oven-baked salmon, langoustines, seafood platters, and traditional smørrebrød, served daily in the brasserie between 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM. Visit on an early Friday evening, enjoy a glass of champagne at the bar, and then settle into the brasserie for an excellent dinner. It is one of our favourite ways to experience the restaurant.
If you enjoy seafood, we highly recommend the salmon stuffed with morel mushrooms and scallops. It is a Melanders classic, and one taste will tell you why it remains on the menu.

Brasserie Le Galopin
If you would like to experience a taste of Paris without leaving Täby, Brasserie Le Galopin is the answer. Located on Boulevarden in Täby Park, it has quickly become one of the area’s most talked-about restaurants.
The menu is unmistakably French, featuring oysters, escargots, steak tartare, moules frites, entrecôte, and crème brûlée. The wine bar offers an extensive selection of French wines by the glass, while the kitchen is run by chefs with a genuine passion for French cuisine.
We recommend the entrecôte. Prepared with great care and attention to detail, it is an excellent example of how a French kitchen handles a classic cut of beef. Pair it with a red wine from the wine list for a combination worth remembering.
Friday lunch service transitions seamlessly into after-work drinks with a DJ on the outdoor terrace. Weekends feature brunch, and there is never any need to rush at Le Galopin—that is precisely the point.

Ingredients follow the seasons: asparagus and strawberries in summer, apples from the castle garden in autumn, and house-pickled and cured produce during the winter months. The menu focuses on locally sourced ingredients and high-quality cooking without unnecessary complexity.
We particularly enjoy visiting on a Thursday evening when dinner is served in the tranquil surroundings of the castle. The atmosphere is relaxed yet distinctive. There is something special about enjoying a meal in a 17th-century salon setting without feeling rushed.
